Anna Torv, an Australian, will play FBI agent Olivia Warren, the lead female character in “Fringe,” the sci-fi pilot for the Fox netlet from J.J. Abrams’ Bad Robot ("Alias," "Lost," "Cloverfield," "Star Trek").
“Fringe” tells the tale of Warren, who teams with an unbalanced scientist to investigate a growing wave of paranormal phenomena.
John Noble, another Australian (he played Denethor in the “Return of the King” series), plays the scientist.
