We've heard many names swirling around this title for quite a while, but now comes word that someone in officially on-board.
It's Steve Norrington. So says THIS ARTICLE in Variety.
Norrington directed the first BLADE movie (which, to me, was far better than it could've been...neither of its sequels came close to matching it in my opinion). He also directed THE LEAGUE OF EXTRAORDINARY GENTLEMAN - a tremendously cool concept whose pacing was way off & whose heart never quite found a pulse.
An unexpected choice, but also an interesting one that makes sense in a weird sort of way. LXG sorely missed spirit...and to some extent so did the original CLASH. Hopefully they'll inject some spunk into this one; it could be a blast.
Sounds like the project will rumble to life early next year.
