Oh. My. God. You Have To Read UGO’s Description Of The First Six Minutes Of THE DARK KNIGHT!

Hey, everyone. ”Moriarty” here. Patrick Sauriol wrote us with the heads-up on this one, but the actual report is be Radtke, a NY correspondent. It’s a fantastic description of what sounds like a fantastic opening to, god wiling, a fantastic film. I’ve never made a secret of my intense dislike of Jack Nicholson’s performance in the ’89 BATMAN. He’s fine if you want to watch a movie about Jack Freakin’ Nicholson, but he’s an awful Joker. The idea that we are six months or so away from seeing a potentially great interpretation of my favorite character in comic-book history... well, I’m trying not to think about it. I’m trying not to get hyped up. I’m trying to play it cool. So why am I afraid that I’m going crap my pants when I actually see this in IMAX in a few weeks?
Hey Harry, one of my NYC pals just got back from seeing the first six minutes of THE DARK KNIGHT. Chris Nolan was there. William Fichtner plays the bank teller and the first guy that comes face to face with The Joker and the way he gets offed is pretty intense and very Joker worthy. CLICK HERE! This sounds like Ledger's Joker is gonna be up to Nicholson's, minimum.
