Once again, I point out that NBC trots out the third, fall edition of “Last Comic Standing" on Aug. 31.

I only care slightly who wins, because Heffron is really funny, and Gulman and Bodden only marginally less so. Not to Phan the flames, but America really did pick the right three this year.

NBC, kindly do not fucking cast any more Ants, Londons and Glasses because you think they’ll be more reality-friendly. What’s reality-friendly is smart and funny people like Dan Naturman, Irina Franklin and Tim Young. The conflict will emerge on its own, as it did with the great Dave Mordal last summer. Trust Herc on this. You fucking Wolf-worshipping douchebags.
