MOULIN ROUGE Will Open Cannes! And Here's The TRAILER!

Greetings, Francophiles! ROBOGEEK here with a fabulously phantasmagoric peek at the film that will not only open the 54th Cannes Film Festival on May 9th, but will also be entered in official competition (highly unusual).
Ah, Cannes... I remember strolling along the Croissette and climbing the red carpet of the Palais back when Baz Lurhmann's delectable debut film STRICTLY BALLROOM premiered there not so many years ago - and I'm thrilled to see him returning there in such high style.
Mere minutes ago, the QuickTime virtuosos behind Apple's Movie Trailer page posted three sizes/resolutions of the thoroughly resplendent new trailer for MOULIN ROUGE, starring Nicole Kidman and Ewan McGregor.
MOULIN ROUGE - a story of truth, beauty, freedom and, above all things, love - opens May 4. (The other films in competition at Cannes will be announced April 18.)
