THE SIMPSONS MOVIE Is About...?!

First off, to follow-up on Friday's report regarding the sneaky-as-hell deployment of THE SIMPSONS MOVIE teaser into theaters, here's a link to the trailer we were talking about!

If you saw THE SIMPSONS episode that aired on Fox last night, this is the same teaser shown during the episode...which is the same teaser now in theaters.

Also...

Late last night, I received a message regarding THE SIMPSONS MOVIE - from Krusty the Clown's Nephew. The message provided a detail about the project already known around the Net - that voice recording for the film has begun (although Krusty's Nephew specifically indicated this started the Wednesday before the Oscars).

But Krusty's Nephew also said that the premise of the film is:

BEWARE RIDICULOUSLY MINOR SPOILER HERE!

"All of the original cast, and writers, are involved. The main plot is that a goof by Homer at the power plant results in the government putting a dome over the city limits of Springfield."

I glanced around the Net and didn't see this "out there" - is it? I've seen many SIMPSONS episodes, but not all of them, and this doesn't sound familiar to me from an existing context. Should it be? Or, is Krusty the Clown's Nephew shooting straighter than his bitch uncle ever did?
