Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with some fantastic news for us fans of Rage Cage and Jables (Kyle Gass and Jack Black, respectively. Translation provided by Satan). The duo have begun recording the new music for the TENACIOUS D movie called PICK OF DESTINY. With this and Harry's revelation of Dio being in the film, all us D fans are in heaven right now. Afterall, Dio has rocked for a long, long time and I'm sure he'll rock our fucking socks off with JB and KG in the flick.
I've been a fan of The D since I got their album in 2001, then saw them play at the Austin Music Hall. Their music is fun, funny and (gasp) actually good music! When I met Jack Black on the set of KING KONG we talked a bit about the TENACIOUS D movie and he was pretty sure New Line was going to be going ahead with a Spring start to production and it looks like they may be doing just that!

Tenacious D has begun recording new music for their upcoming film, PICK OF DESTINY. John King is the producer behind the board and don't be surprised if there are a few special guests on the album as well.
