Can it really be true that TAXI doesn't suck donkey nuts' Really'

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here with a very perplexing review. I'm shocked, after cringing through the trailer, that early word says that this movie is not only not complete shit, but actually pretty good. What's even more shocking is that this isn't the first positive review we've gotten. This is either the most elaborate and desperate studio plant conspiracy or the unthinkable happened and TAXI is a good movie. I always hope for a movie to succeed, so I'll be glad if it's really funny and inventive... plus I'll be dreading Tim Story's FANTASTIC FOUR, starring a bunch of teens and Red Skull from that wonderous cheese-tacular CAPTAIN AMERICA flick from the early '90s as The Thing, a little less. So, that'd be a plus. Anyway, here's the review!

Hey Harry,

Just got back from an early screening of Tim Story’s “Taxi” and let me tell you that it was the biggest surprise of the year.

When I first realized that the director behind this flick would be behind “The Incredible Four,” my stomach was in knots. I saw the trailer and the movie alone looked like a mixed-gender buddy flick. But the film surprisingly was much more than that. Fallon, while not the greatest of actors was able to stand out in his big lead for the film. While he did well, Latifah did outshine him throughout the film. Stereotype jokes are surprisingly absent despite what it looked like from the preview. Latifah and Fallon follow through with original and hilarious dialogue and situations.

I almost forgot the debut of the sexy Gisele Bundchen who looks like she’ll definitely have a future in movies. (Not those kind, sicko) She does a great job at being the villain with her own partners. Her scenes with Fallon on-screen are almost as funny as Latifah and Fallon are throughout the movie.

Altogether, I have a lot more faith in “The Incredible Four” now that I’ve watched this film. At first “Taxi” looked like a complete disaster. But when you take a chance to give it a chance, you’ll see this as a great flick.
